She wanted to create a pendant using stones from a ring from her late husband, Wanting the pendant to be a circle with the center yellow sapphire hanging in the center. She didn't want too many diamonds and liked the idea of engraved star shapes under the diamonds that are spaced out around the outside of the pendant.
